What is the main idea of the passage?
Novosadov [1.4K]

Answer:

Option(B)

Providing people with clean, safe housing will help improve society.

Explanation:

The passage clearly states that if we provide the laboring classes which are the lower classes living in poverty with better facilities like improved ventilation and other home facilities like clean and safe housing they will suffer less and will not be lured to committing a crime at younger age in order to fulfill their needs which is called premature mortality.

Hence crime rate will decrease and society will be better.

In both Ancient Egypt and Ancient Dynastic China, power was:
mario62 [17]
The correct answer is - D. Held absolutely and by divine right.

In both of these ancient empires/dynasties the rulers were not elected, but instead they had the throne as a given because they were born in the family that ruled the empire/dynasty. They had the absolute power over everything in their respective empires/dynasties, but it's interesting that they were also considered as divine creatures, like Gods even.
