LeeAnn wants to organize her data from researching the effect of hours of sunlight on plant growth to see if there is a trend in

the data. Which would be the best way for LeeAnn to display her data for analysis so she can make predictions about the amount of light needed for maximum growth?

The best way to plot her data would be a line graph. With a line graph she would most easily explore the relatonship between all the different variables that play an effect in the growth of plants. Doing this, she would be able to maximize her data visually.

The best way for LeeAnn to display her data for analysis so she can make predictions about the amount of light needed for maximum growth would be in a line graph.

A line graph is a chart that displays quantitative values over a period of time. A line graph is commonly used to display trends in a dataset and to evaluate how the data has changed over time. The line graph is made up of a horizontal x-axis and a vertical y-axis and each axis is labeled with a data type. In a line graph, the data points are plotted and are later joined by a line. The direction of the lines across the graph produces patterns that show the relationship between all the different variables in a dataset.

In direct calorimetry, a person is placed in a large, water-insulated chamber. The chamber is kept at a constant temperature. Wh
Anastaziya [24]

Answer:

Although direct calorimetry is considered to be the most precise technique for the measurement of metabolic rate, construction of such a chamber that is large enough for doing exercise physiology research (or any research for that matter) is extremely expensive and not at all mobile.

Explanation:

Direct calorimetry measures the heat production of an individual, in calories, when placed in an insulated chamber where the heat is transferred to surrounding water. This is a very accurate method of measuring energy expenditure.

What would be the consequence to an organism if they are missing the following DNA repair mechanisms:
sp2606 [1]

Answer:

a. DNA polymerase proofreading:   consequence of its absence is the DNA mutation

b.  Mismatch repair enzymes : consequence of its absence impedes homologous recombination resulting in the final mutation

c. Nucleotide excision repair enzymes : the absence of nucleotide cleavage repair enzymes would impede the functioning of damaged DNA repair mechanisms

Explanation:

a. DNA polymerases are the enzymes that form the DNA in cells. During DNA replication (copying), most DNA polymerases can "check their work" with each base they add. This process is called review. If the polymerase detects that you have added a wrong nucleotide (incorrectly paired), remove it and replace it immediately, before continuing with DNA synthesis

b. In homologous recombination, the information from the homologous chromosome that matches that of the damaged one (or from a sister chromatid if the DNA has been copied) is used to repair the fragmentation. In this process the two homologous chromosomes are approached and the undamaged region of the homologue or the chromatide is used as a template to replace the damaged region of the broken chromosome. Homologous recombination is "cleaner" than the union of non-homologous ends and does not usually cause 11 mutations

c. Excision repair: damage to one or a few DNA bases is usually fixed by removing (excising) and replacing the damaged region. In repair by base cleavage, only the damaged base is removed. In nucleotide excision repair, as in the mating repair we saw earlier, a nucleotide section is removed

In humans, there are four blood types: A, B, AB and O. Each parent can give their offspring one of three blood type alleles, IA
Delvig [45]

Answer: One parent is IAi and the other parent is IBi

Explanation: As this trait is codominant, the child can inherited IA, IB or i.

Tina has type O, which means she is ii and her sister is AB, so her genotype is IAIB. Now, to have a child with a recessive trait both parents has to carry at least one allele for the recessive, i. Rosa is type AB which means she had to have inherited one allele IA from one of her parents and the other IB from the other parent. Thus, one parent is IAi and the other is IBi.
