Answer:

D). The first time a baby makes eye contact with another person.

Explanation:

Socialization is described as the process in which an individual learns his/her culture and how to accommodate/adjust himself/herself as per the norms set up by the society or group. It is the process in which the child learns to act, participate, and behave in a specified(and approved) manner set up by society.

As per the question, socialization begins when 'the first time a baby makes eye contact with another person' as this event is symbolic of its first interaction that keeps increasing as soon as it(baby) communicates or interacts with more and more people. He would observe their behavior and begin to acquire the basic social skills and attempt to adjust and respond according to the societal norms or customs(reflected through parents and family members' behavior). Thus, option D is the correct answer.

At a picnic there were 3 times as many adults as children and twice as many women as men. If there was a total of x men, women,
frosja888 [35]

Answer:

Number of men in terms of x =  \frac{x}{4}

Explanation:

Let number of children be y

then number of adults = 3y

let number of men be z

number of women = 2z

adults = men + women

adults = z+2z

total number of adults= 3z

number of adults = 3 times number of children = 3y

3z = 3y

z =y

Total  were = men + women + children  = x

                        z+   2z +    z = x

                            4z=x

            z =   \frac{x}{4}

number of men in terms of x =  \frac{x}{4}

Using complete sentences, explain the differences between a command economy and a market economy. What type of economic system i
RSB [31]

Answer:

The market economy is an economy type where the private businesses dominate. The economy is open, the trade is on a large scale, and very often big percentage of the produced goods are exported, while others are imported.

The command economy is in the hands of the government, which controls everything in it, and has all the resources in its hands. The economy is usually more closed, and there's trade with only a handful of countries, usually with the same economic type. The private businesses do not exist.

By combining this too we get mixed economy. In this type of economy, the government still has big portion of the resources in its hands, and is still heavily involved in the decisions, but the economy is much more open for trade. The amount of production is much bigger than what the country needs, so there's lot of goods that are exported. The benefit is that the government has control over the most important things in the country, and the workers are protected, as well as making big profit from the export of goods while maintaining the balance on home ground. A perfect example of this is China.
