In order to correct the dangling participle, we should change the sentence to

Watching a good TV show, I was upset when the television stopped.

Read all of the sentences carefully, the television was never watching itself. You need to make sure that you use the correct subject to go with our participle "watching" in the preceding clause.

Answer:

Nick will be more likely to have a hyper cortisol response and show higher levels of physical aggression.

Explanation:

Cortisol is often referred to as a "stress hormone". New studies have shown that in summer higher level of cortisol hormones circulate in blood. Hence Nick or any other person living in hot climate is more likely to be affected by higher cortisol hormones in case of stress or conflict. I would say the answer is a. 5 and 7 because one is talking about teaching your dog to sit and the other is teaching your dog to lay down. I have a dog and to teach her to sit the process is the same as teaching her to lay down (I.e. you do the process to teach her either of those skills). Hope this helped! :)

7. (LF 3.37) Modern Greek is an Indo-European language spoken in Greece. Examine the sounds [ x ], [ k ], [ ç ], and [ c ] in th
Galina-37 [17]

Contrastive distribution occurs when two sounds placed in the same context produce different meanings. This is the case in the sounds [k] and [x] . For example: [kano] 'do' versus [xano] 'lose'.

The same happens with the sounds [ç] and [c]. They are in constrastive distribution as in shown in the following example: [çino] 'pour' versus [cino] 'move

In complementary distribution, where one sound occurs the other cannot. This is the case in the sounds [k] and [c] The first sound (palatal stop) appears before front vowels whereas the second sound (velar stop) appears elsewhere.

The sounds [ç] and [x] are also in complementary distribution. As in the previous example, the palatal appears before front vowels and the velar appears elsewhere
