Read the excerpt from The Odyssey. Now from his breast into his eyes the ache of longing mounted, and he wept at last, his dear

wife, clear and faithful, in his arms, longed for as the sunwarmed earth is longed for by a swimmer spent in rough water where his ship went down under Poseidon's blows, gale winds and tons of sea. Few men can keep alive through a big surf to crawl, clotted with brine, on kindly beaches in joy, in joy, knowing the abyss behind: How does this excerpt from the end of the story show that Odysseus has changed in the course of his adventure? He is overly confident in his ability to conquer Poseidon. He values home and family more than personal glory. He misses the opportunity to sail in stormy seas. He is happiest when in command of a difficult battle.

Answer:

He values home and family more than personal glory.

Explanation:

In this excerpt, we learn that Odysseus has changed throughout his journey. Although he always had the desire to go back home, and he longed to see his wife, he nevertheless was reasonably happy with having great adventures and seeking glory. He also desired other women. However, towards the end of his journey, we see that Odysseus does not desire any of this anymore. He is tired of travelling and struggling, and his greatest wish is to be comfortable at home with his wife.

fiasKO [112]

Answer:

A Differential Reinforcement Of Low Rates Of Behavior

Explanation:

Differential reinforcement of low rates of behavior (DRL) is described as a schedule in which a minimum amount of time must pass between responses in order for a reinforcement to occur. For instance, spaced-responding DRL, the interval duration may be increased to further reduce behavior. This was described by Ferster and Skinner in the year 1957

Differential reinforcement of low rates of responding (DRL) can also be said to be a technique in which a positive reinforcer is given or delivered at the end of a specific interval if a target behavior has occurred at a criterion rate. It is usually used in educational settings to manage classroom behaviors.

Maria being praised by her teacher whenever she asks for permission to speak at certain intervals is a typical example of Differential reinforcement of low rates of responding (DRL).
