I think that the angles of the polygon would not change since there isn't a change of the shape, rather it position and rotation. The sum of each internal angle is found using S = 180(n-2), so
S = 180(5-2)
S = 180(3)
S = 540
540 / 5 = 108 degrees.
Therefore, all angles in the polygon is 108 degrees. I think this is what you meant right?

miv72 [106K]
On the added picture you can see that graphs of functions y=2x^2-2 and y=-0.5x+4 have two points of intersection. The x-coordinates of these points are the solutions of the equation
2x^2-2=-0.5x+4.
Hence, the approximate solutions are x=-1.9 and x=1.6.

Which of the following predictions can be calculated using a geometric distribution?
snow_lady [41]

Answer: C

both a and b

Step-by-step explanation:

Both options A and B deals with the number of trials required for a single success. Thus, they are negative binomial distribution where the number of successes (r) is equal to 1.

The geometric distribution is a special case of the negative binomial  distribution that deals with the number of trials required for a single success.

Isabella Is building a tree fort .The base of the fort is 78 inches wide by 92 inches long. What is the area of the base in squa
Maslowich

Answer:

Part a) The area of the base is 7,176\ in^{2}

Part b) The area of the base is 49\frac{5}{6}\ ft^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The area of a rectangle is equal to

A=LW

Part a)

we have

L=92\ in

W=78\ in

substitute

A=92*78=7,176\ in^{2}

Part b)

we know that

1\ ft=12\ in

Convert inches to feet

92\ in=92/12\ ft

78\ in=78/12=6.5\ ft

substitute in the formula

A=(92/12)*6.5=(598/12)\ ft^{2}

Convert to mixed number

(598/12)\ ft^{2}=(588/12)+(10/12)=49+(5/6)=49\frac{5}{6}\ ft^{2}
