The line which is an irregular line of blank verse is the first one - “He only says, ‘Good fences make good neighbours.’”
A blank verse is a type of a line that consists of 10 syllables, where each second syllable is stressed ( = iambic pentameter that Shakespeare always used). The second, third, and fourth line are all good examples of blank verse, whereas the first line has 11, instead of 10 syllables.

The first excerpt sets its mood by representing events as they are, and there is a clear point of 'cause and effect': the information given by author is supported with reason. The second excerpt is a nice example of allusion irony, so it can be defined as literary anecdote.

It was after meeting and falling in love with Juliet that Romeo's life got surrounded by difficulties. A metaphor has been used in the line which compares Juliet with 'calamity.'

Tasya [4]
Grendel is depicted as an evil mindless monster whose only goal is destruction and spreading evil. Considering that he's not depicted as an intellectual tactician but rather as a brute who wants to eat others, he would probably just heal up and attack again. Either that or he would ask for help from his mother.
