The formula is
I=prt
I interest earned 22.4
P original deposit ?
R interest rate 0.028
T time 1 year
Solve the formula for p to get
P=I÷rt
P=22.4÷(0.028×1)
P=800

Interest = principle * rate * time...
I = PRT...we are going to rearrange this because we are looking for the principle...

I / (RT) = P
I = 22.40
R = 2.8%...turn to a decimal = 0.028
T = 1

sub and solve
22.40 / (0.028(1) = P
22.40 / 0.028 = P
800 = P....amount of original deposit is $ 800 <==

Calculate δe, if q= 0.764 kj and w= -830 j . express your answer using two significant figures.
Deffense [45]
Given:
Q = 0.0764 kJ = 764 J, heat input
W = -830 J, useful work done

From the 1st Law of Thermodynamics, the change in internal energy is
δE = Q - W
     = 764  - (-830)
     =  1594 J = 1.594 kJ

Answer: 1.59 kJ (two sig. fig.)

andrew11 [14]

Answer:

The length side of the pre-image is 16 units

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The length side of the image is equal to the length side of the pre-image multiplied by the scale factor

or

The length side of the pre-image is equal to the length side of the image divided by the scale factor

in this problem we have that

The scale factor is 1/2

The length side of the image is 8 units

therefore

8/(1/2)=16 units

The length side of the pre-image is 16 units
