Actually, Waiting for EMS is not a bad idea, however considering that this question probably wants you to do something immediately, you shouldn't put it straight up in a bucket of Ice. Put it in a bag, and then put it in Ice. Remember that because this body part is not attached to a body, it cannot thermoregulate and you could actually cause degeneration following direct contact to Ice.
