As with evolutionary development of brain structure, personal development also occurs in a sort of medial to lateral and occipital to frontal fashion. The limbic system develops and matures early in childhood, while the frontal and prefrontal areas develop later. This means that emotional functioning, driven by the limbic system, develops first, and cognitive functioning, driven by the frontal and prefrontal areas, develop later and reach maturity in early adulthood.

As treatment for his disease, Ven is avoiding tobacco and alcohol, eating calcium-rich foods, and lifting weights. Which disease
Dafna1 [17]
Ven is likely being treated for osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is the breakdown of bones that cause them to become brittle. If we break down the term "oste-o" and "porosis" we'll find that oste-o means bone and porosis means having pores. So if you can image a bone with large pores in them, it could definitely cause breaks. Calcium is great to help the structure of the bones and lifting weights will help keep the flexibility along with helping the bones be stronger.

Explain how the components of skill-related fitness are interrelated and how each is of importance.
svet-max [94.6K]
Skill related fitness components help a person perform certain tasks that involve motion/movement. Sports, recreational activities, and games are examples of activities that involve motor movements. The different skill related components are: agility, balance, coordination, power, reaction time, and speed.

The goal of achieving a certain level of fitness through the skill-related components could help an individual perform better in sports. But in able to do this, one must be particularly aware what exact skill-related component does a particular sport demand to successfully practice and develop the skills it needs. A sport may have combinations of these components at certain levels, and one must make sure that the training that will commence will be very specific to the demands of those particular skills.

An example is surfing, where an individual needs both balance and coordination to be able to successfully stand on top of the board. To achieve this, one must specifically train coordinating and balancing activities (e.g. core exercises, planks) to improve on the sport.
