Lets split the box in pieces and then add:
top = 20*15 = 300
sidesA = 2*20*9 = 360, is multiplied by 2 cause there are 2 sides like this
sidesB = 2*9*15 = 270, is multiplied by 2 cause there are 2 sides like this
so in total we have:
total = 300 + 360 + 270 = 930 cm^2
if we express this quantity in mm^2 we have:
1cm² = 100 mm²total = 930*100 = 93000 mm^2
so if the tiles are 5 mm^2 we need:
total tiles = 93000/5 = 18600
we need 18600 tiles of 5 mm^2

Workers have packed 1,400 glasses in 7 boxes. If they pack 3 more boxes, how many glasses will they have packed in all?
Alexandra [31]
2000

1box = 1400/7 = 200
200×3=600
1400+600=2000

Step-by-step explanation:
Given :Workers have packed 1,400 glasses in 7 boxes.
To Find :If they pack 3 more boxes, how many glasses will they have packed in all?
Solution:
Workers packed no. of glasses in 7 boxes = 1400
Workers packed no. of glasses in 1 box =
Workers packed no. of glasses in 3 boxes =
                                                                      =
So, initially they packed 1400 glasses
If they pack 3 more boxes so, the pack 600 glasses more
So, The total no. of glasses have packed by workers = 1400+600 = 2000
Hence they have packed 2000 glasses in all.

choli [55]
Debra received 7/8
if you divide 1,000,000 by 125,000 you get 8. which means Ian got 1/8 of the money. leaving 7/8 for Debra

The moon is about 240,000 miles from earth . What is the distance written as a whole number multiplied by a power of ten
Murrr4er [49]
240,000 is a whole number. Now do the power of ten lol. Use a calculator. Remember don't do it all at once. The powers mean multiplying separate for example: 10×10 equals 100. I hundred times10 equals 1000. That is powered by three because it is multiplying 1030 different times which makes it the power. Simple math these days ha ha

HELP!!
Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

Part 1: The polygon ABCDE reflected across y-axis to get the polygon MNOPQ. So, the polygon ABCDE congruent to polygon MNOPQ.

Part 2: The vertices of polygon VWXYZ are V(1, 3), W(-1, 7), X(-7, 7), Y(-5, 3), and Z(-3, 1).

Step-by-step explanation:

Part 1:

The vertices of the polygon ABCDE are A(2, 8), B(4, 12), C(10, 12), D(8, 8), and E(6, 6).

The vertices of the polygon MNOPQ are M(-2, 8), N(-4, 12), O(-10, 12), P(-8, 8), and Q(-6, 6).

We need to find the transformation or sequence of transformations that can be performed on polygon ABCDE to show that it is congruent to polygon MNOPQ.

The relation between the vertices of ABCDE and MNOPQ are defined as

(x,y)\rightarrow (-x,y)

It means the polygon ABCDE reflected across y-axis to get the polygon MNOPQ. So, the polygon ABCDE congruent to polygon MNOPQ.

Part 2:

If polygon MNOPQ is translated 3 units right and 5 units down, then

(x,y)\rightarrow (x+3,y-5)

M(-2,8)\rightarrow V(-2+3,8-5)=V(1,3)

N(-4,12)\rightarrow W(-4+3,12-5)=W(-1,7)

O(-10,12)\rightarrow X(-10+3,12-5)=X(-7,7)

P(-8,8)\rightarrow Y(-8+3,8-5)=Y(-5,3)

Q(-6,6)\rightarrow Z(-6+3,6-5)=Z(-3,1)

Therefore the vertices of polygon VWXYZ are V(1, 3), W(-1, 7), X(-7, 7), Y(-5, 3), and Z(-3, 1).

300-7[4(3+5)]+3 to the 3rd power
Mila [183]

Answer:

The answer is 103

Step-by-step explanation:

The given expression is:

300-7[4(3+5)]+3 to the 3rd power

3 to the 3rd power means 3^3

Therefore,

300-7[4(3+5)]+3^3

First we will solve the round bracket and find the cube

300-7[4(8)]+27

Now we will solve square bracket

300-7[32]+ 27

300-224+27

76+27

103

Thus the answer we get is 103....
