Plug in the values to get this: 11,000/6,500 = x/100. Cross multiply the values to get 1,100,000 = 6,500x. Now, divide each side by 6,500 to isolate the variable, When you do, you get x ≈ 169.2307692 or 169.2 when rounded to the nearest tenth. The rate of change in profit for a small business is approx. 169.2%.

13/35 is the answer. It was calaculated by dividing 6500 and 17500 each by 100, which is 65/175. Then I divided that by 5 and got 13/35.
