Because highway often connect several regions between states and the indivdual states often only want to be responsible for the construction of their own states. This will cause many leftover material and the abundance of expense from the Government's budget so it better to leave the matter on federal Government.

A business owner makes 50 items a day. She spends 8 hours in producing those items. If hired elsewhere she could have earned $10
ElenaW [278]

Answer:

Option (a) is correct.

Explanation:

Given that,

Explicit costs = $10,000

Here, the implicit cost is the cost of sacrificing money income from job:

= $10 per hour × 8 hours a day × 30 days

= $2,400

Revenues:

= Items produced in a day × Selling price of each × 30 days

= 50 × $10 × 30

= $15,000

Therefore,

Economic profit for the month:

= Revenues - Explicit costs - Implicit cost

= $15,000 - $10,000 - $2,400

= $2,600

wariber [46]

Answer:

The correct answers are:

(C) Anticipate objections: A person who persuades correctly and with ethics can anticipate the objections or doubts that people who are subject to persuasion have in order to effectively answer any questions they may have and  be able to make the deal effective.

(D) It generates interest: It generates interest because at that time it usually creates a need for the person who does not have or who mainly does not know he does not have.

(E) Ask for a particular and easy action to take: In general, persuasion, as it is a created need, is easier to create small and easy-to-execute actions so that persuasion work is effective because if the person who is doing the work does it with larger actions, it is likely that it will not capture the attention of the person with whom it is being done, emphasizing that these actions should always be done considering the ethical principles of a company and society.

2. Debit Income Statement $25,000

Credit Depreciation Expense $25,000

Credit Salaries Expense $23,000

To close the account for the period.

4. Debit Income Statement (Retained Earnings) $2,000

Credit Dividends $2,000

To close the account for the period.

Explanation:

Closing entries are journal entries that are made to close temporary (periodic) accounts, revenue and expenses to the Income Statement.  This paves the way for only permanent accounts to remain for the Balance Sheet.  Temporary accounts are not carried forward to the next period unlike permanent accounts.

Closing entries transfer all revenue and expense accounts at the end of an accounting period to an income summary account, for the purpose of calculating the financial performance results (called gross profit and net income or loss) for the period.
