Because highway often connect several regions between states and the indivdual states often only want to be responsible for the construction of their own states. This will cause many leftover material and the abundance of expense from the Government's budget so it better to leave the matter on federal Government.

Henkes Corporation bases its predetermined overhead rate on the estimated labor-hours for the upcoming year. At the beginning of
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

Answer:

$27.2

Explanation:

First we have to calculate the total estimated manufacturing overheads which shall be determined as follows:

Estimated total manufacturing overheads=Variable manufacturing overhead+ Fixed manufacturing overheads

Variable manufacturing overhead=Estimated labour hours*manufacturing overhead per labour hour

                                                        =75,000*$10.70=$802,500

Fixed manufacturing overheads=$1,237,500

Estimated total manufacturing overheads=$802,50+$1,237,500

                                                                    =$2,040,000

Now we will compute the predetermined overhead rate which shall be determined using the following formula:

Predetermined overhead rate=Estimated total manufacturing overheads/Estimated labour hours

Predetermined overhead rate=$2,040,000/75,000=$27.2

Tucker's National Distributing has a current market value of equity of $32,400. Currently, the firm has excess cash of $2,100, t
garri49 [273]

Answer:

$40.45

Explanation:

Given;

current market value of equity = $32,400

excess cash = $2,100

total assets = $22,400

net income = $3,210

Outstanding shares = 800

Price per share for the current shares

= current market value of equity / Outstanding shares

= $32,400 / 800

= $40.5

Now, the excess cash (i.e $2100) is used for purchasing shares

thus,

number of shares repurchased = excess cash  / Price per share

or

number of shares repurchased = $2,100 / ( $40.5 per share ) = 51.85

or 51 shares

Therefore, the number of outstanding shares = 800 - 51 = 749

Thus, new equity = current market value of equity - excess cash

= $32,400 - $2,100 = $30,300

Hence,

the stock price per share be after the stock repurchase is completed

= New equity / Outstanding share

= $30,300 / 749

= $40.45

A company experiences a stock split due to poor performance. Ariana's initial investment
olchik [2.2K]

Answer:  25

Explanation:

Given, A company experiences a stock split due to poor performance. Ariana's initial investment  was a purchase of 50 stocks at $12.99 per share.

Value of her shares = 50 x $12.99

= $649.50

The reverse split is 1:2 means the number of shares split into half but the total value of her shares remains the same.

i.e. Ariana owns  50/2=25 stocks after the stock split.

Hence, Ariana owns 25 stocks after the stock split.
