Answer: The number of different ways can Roberto display his figure =4

Step-by-step explanation:

As per given , we have

Total cards = 18

Let 'a' be the number of pages with 2 cards and 'b' be the number of pages with 3 cards.

such that

2a+3b=18   (i)

Now , we need to find the possible solutions for (a,b) , where a, b are positive integers and satisfy equation (i).

When a=0 , 2(0)+3b=18\Rightarrow\ 3b=18\Rightarrow\ b=6

When b=0 , 2a+3(0)=18\Rightarrow\2a=18\Rightarrow\ a=9

When a=3 , 2(3)+3b=18\Rightarrow\ 6+3b=18\Rightarrow\ 3b=12\Rightarrow\ b=4

When a=6 , 2(6)+3b=18\Rightarrow\12+3b=18\Rightarrow\ 3b=6\Rightarrow\ b=2

i.e. Possible solutions for (a,b) = (0,6), (9,0) , (3,4) , (6,2) .

⇒Number of possible solutions for (a,b) =4

Thus , the number of different ways can Roberto display his figure =4

Pete corporation produces bags of peanuts. It's fixed cost is $18,900. Each bag sells for $2.17 with a unit cost of $1.27. What
pentagon [3]

Answer:

in units: 18,900

in dollars: $ 41,013

Step-by-step explanation:

The break even point is the sales dollar amount or sales in unit at whichthe operating income of the firm equals to zero:\frac{Fixed\:Cost}{Contribution \:Margin} = Break\: Even\: Point_{units }

Where:

\frac{Contribution \: Margin}{Sales \: Revenue} = Contribution \: Margin \: Ratio

<em><u>Contribution margin:</u></em>

2.17 - 1.27 = 1 dollar per unit

Break even:

$18,900 fixed cost /  $1 per unit = 18,900 units

Then, in sales:

18,900 x $2.17 each = 41.013‬

break even point:

Lydia buys 5 pounds of apples and 3 pounds of bananas for a total of $8.50. Ari buys 3 pounds of apples and 2 pounds of bananas
Anarel [89]
5x + 3y= 8.50
3x + 2y= 5.25

Lydia is the first equation. She bought 5 pounds of apples which is x and bought 3 pounds of bananas which is y. Basically, remember each banana and apple weighs a price per pound. We don't know the price so we just put an x. This is the same for the second equation
