According D.Elkind adolescent egocentrism is when young people can not make a difference between their perceptions of what other people means about them and what others really think. Adolescents are mostly focused of themselves and them perceptions ( especially how they look and behave). Personal fable and imaginary audience are parts of adolescent egocentrism.
