If a Preimage and Image is given, and if these transformation takes place then the two That is pre-image and an image will be congruent.

1. Reflection→→The two , preimage and image are mirror images of each other. There is no change in shape and size of image after transformation.

2. Rotation→→When we rotate a geometrical shape through certain angle, the shape and size of image does not change. The two Pre image and image are congruent.

3. Translation: In this type of transformation , we shift the preimage either right ,left or up and down . But there is no change in shape and size of two geometrical shapes that is pre image and image.

Answer:

Sample Response: Under a reflection, rotation, or translation, an image is congruent to its pre-image. If the image can be shown to be the result of one of these transformations, then the image is congruent to its pre-image. Because of the transitive property of congruence, the same will be true if the image is a result of a sequence of these transformations

Solve the system of linear equations by graphing. Round the solution to the nearest tenth as needed. Y + 2.3 = 0.45x and -2y = 4
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

(2.4, -1.2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Start by moving the x and the y to the same side and moving the number across the equal sign in both equations. We should now have y-0.45x=-2.3 and 2y+4.2x=7.8. We can use the elimination method by multiplying the first equation by -2 to get -2y+0.9x=4.6 and 2y+4.2x=7.8. From there, add the two equations together, eliminating y (-2+2=0). We now have 5.1x=12.4; divide both sides by 5.1 to get x=2.4. Then, in any of the two equations, let's use y-0.45x=-2.3, substitute x with 2.4. Now we have y-1.08=-2.3. Add 1.08 to both sides to get y=-1.22; round that to the nearest tenth to get -1.2.

The angle by which AB turns clockwise about point B to coincide with BC is ? degrees. If from point B, a point E is drawn direc
Oksana_A [137]
A) AB turn clockwise to coincide with BC

= ABD + DBC

= 33.3° + 30.6°

= 63.9°

b) If E is drawn directly opposite C.

EBC is a straight line, so sum of angles =180°

ABE + ABD + DBC = 180°

ABE + 33.3° + 30.6° = 180°

ABE + 63.9° = 180°

ABE = 180 - 63.1

ABE = 116.9°

Hope this explains it.

Calculate the expected gain or loss for Stock ABC. Lose $25 Gain $5 Gain $45 Stock ABC 40% | 15% | 45% Stock JKL| 15% | 65% | 20
Rainbow [258]

Answer:

$11

Step-by-step explanation:

\left\begin{array}{c|ccc}&$Lose \$25&$Gain \$5&$Gain \$45\\$Stock ABC&40\%&15\%&45\%\end{array}\right

We want to calculate the expected gain or loss of Stock ABC with the probabilities above.

Note that loss is written in negative.

E$xpected Value =$ (-25 \times 40\%)+(5 \times 15\%) + (45 \times 45\%)\\=(-25 \times 0.4)+(5 \times 0.15)+(45 \times 0.45)\\=-10+0.75+20.25\\=\$11

Stock ABC has an expected gain of $11.

From your home, the route to the store that passes the beach is 2 miles shorter than the route to the store that passes the park
densk [106]

Then, distance of route passes the beach = x

Let the distance of route that passes the park = x+2

So, their sum would be: x+x+2 = 2x+2

So, option C Is your answer.......
