together. Both Valentino and Eva have worked in restaurants their entire lives, and both have strong business backgrounds, but they are concerned about the strong competition in their community. Use what you have learned about business organizations to advise Valentino and Eva. Which type of business organization should they consider when setting up their new restaurant? In my opinion, limited partnership would be the best type of organization for Valentino and Eva.
- Limited Partnership will establish Valentino and Eva as partners with equal influences. Since they both have strong business background, i believe this would be really important for them.
- Since there are many competitors, the restaurant buisness might not be failed and forced to close. In limited partnership , Valentino and Eva's assets would be protected from the liability that derives from the liquidation process.

General Partnership would be a good option for business organization for Valentino and Eva's start up restaurant. This is a good option for both siblings since:

  • Valentino and Eva would shares the profits, losses, and management of the business equally, creating a healthy business environment.
  • Presumably, Valentino and Eva have equals sum of money from their  inheritance. Having equal investments it is the most obvious option.
  • This type of agreement is not recommended for married couples because of the personal life involvement, but for siblings this would not be an issue.

Which of the following excerpts from F Scott Fitzgerald's "Winter Dreams" exemplifies Dexter's disillusionment with love?
Anna11 [10]

"Winter Dreams" is a short story written by Scott Fitzgerald in 1922. The main character is Dexter Green, a middle-class young boy that wishes to be part of the high class and to be rich. He falls in love with Judy Jones, a rich, beautiful girl, who plays with his feelings and misleads him plenty of times. Years later and after Judy has broken his heart, he goes to the First World War.

Afterwards, Dexter becomes an important businessman in New York, where he gets the news that Judy has gotten married and is abused by her husband. Even then, Dexter still has feelings for Judy but understands that it's too late now.

Thus, the right option is option a, He loved her, and he would love her until the day he was too old for loving—but he could not have her. So he tasted the deep pain that is reserved only for the strong, just as he had tasted for a little while the deep happiness.

What aspects of buying and selling of slaves does Northup single out for condemnation?
Arturiano [62]
The degrading show and presentation of slaves--Soloman Northrup's description of the slave auction shows his disgust for the examination of slaves as if they were horses on parade. The act takes away humanity and creates property.

Northrup describes slaves having to open their mouths to be inspected. Buyers would inspect the bodies of slaves looking for marks or physical attributes they needed in a slave. The process includes cleaning up slaves to help improve the value.
