How does Steinbeck portray truth and lies in Cannery Row?
borishaifa [10]

I think that Nearly every character is hiding some kind of secret, yet they are still portrayed as essentially good people. Does this mean that Steinbeck is advocating mistruths, or that he realizes people are imperfect and it is therefore better to judge motive than action but i'm not sure.

How could accessibility influence your career or study choice
Semenov [28]
Accessibility could influence your career or study choice greatly. Accessibility means that you have something accessible to you, that you can use it. If you don't have the means, or the access to a career or study choice, it will be really difficult for you to actually take part in them. Although you can fight to achieve your goals, ultimately accessiblility, or the lack of it, may prevail so that you don't get that job or don't enroll in a college you want to.

xeze [42]

Answer: Katrina and Sharon are exemplifying B. the play stage.

Explanation: According to George Herbert Mead, during the play stage, children imitate their parents' actions. In the case of little girls, they tend to pretend to carry out the household chores that, in general, their mothers perform. This is what Katrina and her friend Sharon exemplify because they pretend to wash and iron as their mothers do it at home. Mead also describes this stage as the one in which children do not follow the rules of the games they are playing.

Zanzabum

Answer:

Universities operate in the same environment and therefore end up looking alike.

Explanation:

Isomorphism is a term used in sociology to define a structure or organisation to look similar with other structure as an imitation or constructed in the same manner.

Institutional isomorphism means two or more institutions having the similar structure and having similar standards.

Thus when the flagship university has completed its new state-of-the-art student center facility, other universities in the state who operate in the same environment decided to do the same to end up look the same and get the most benefit from the facility.

Thus the answer

"Universities operate in the same environment and therefore end up looking alike".
