Answer: The sale price would be $228,025.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Price of her house = $35000

Price of her closing = $7500

Rate of commission = 7%

So, Amount of commission would be

\dfrac{7}{100}\times 7500\\\\=7\times 75\\\\=\$525

So, Amount of her closing becomes

\$7500+$525

=\$8025

Amount of her loan = $185000

So, Total sales price would be

$185000+$35000+$8025

=$228025

Hence, the sale price would be $228,025.

7,500 plus the commision is 525 now you add it to the 7,500 that will leave you with 8,025 now you subtract it from 185,000 so the answer will be 176,975

I'm glad if it helps :)

Leon evaluated the expression (–4a – 6) + a2 for a = 8. (-4(8) - 6) + 82 (-32-6) + 82 (-38) + 82 (-38) + 16 –19 + 16 –3 Analyze
zhuklara [117]

Answer:

Option 3 is correct as  Leon multiplied 8 by 2 when he should have raised 8 to a power of 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Leon evaluated the expression (-4a-6)+a^2 for a=8

(-4(8) - 6) + 82 ,  (-32-6) + 82 , (-38) + 82 ,  (-38) + 16 –19 + 16 –3

Leon's work is not so proper , Option 3 is correct as  Leon multiplied 8 by 2 when he should have raised 8 to a power of 2.

Correct steps are :

Step 1 :    (-4a-6)+a^2

Step 2 : Put a=8 in the equation we get,

=(-4(8)-6)+8^2

=(-32-6)+8^2

=-38+8^2

=-38+64

=26

Therefore, correct answer is 26.

Complete the equation of the line through (3,-8)(3,−8)left parenthesis, 3, comma, minus, 8, right parenthesis and (6,-4)(6,−4)le
Charra [1.4K]

Answer:

y  = \frac{4}{3}x - 12

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

(x_1,y_1) = (3,-8)

(x_2,y_2) = (6,-4)

Required

Determine the equation

First, we need to determine the slope (m):

m = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}

m = \frac{-4 - (-8)}{6 -3}

m = \frac{-4 +8}{3}

m = \frac{4}{3}

Next, we determine the line equation using:

y - y_1 = m(x - x_1)

Where

m = \frac{4}{3}

(x_1,y_1) = (3,-8)

y - (-8) = \frac{4}{3}(x - 3)

y +8 = \frac{4}{3}(x - 3)

y +8 = \frac{4}{3}x - 4

y  = \frac{4}{3}x - 4 - 8

y  = \frac{4}{3}x - 12

The total distance is 12.57+5.21 = 17.78 meters over two seconds
Hence the speed is 17.78 / 2 = 8.89m/s

An archer misses 60% of his shots how many shots must he make before he gets 100 hits?
Serga [27]

Answer:

250

Step-by-step explanation:

60% is 3/5. Meaning, for every 5 shots taken, the archer only makes 3.

So, they would need to make 250 shots before they get 100.

ziro4ka [17]

The total tickets to be purchased to guarantee the win =  504 tickets

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1 :

Number of entries in the trifecta race = 9

The win is to select the first finisher, second finisher and third finisher in their proper order.

We need to find the number of tickets to be purchased to guarantee the win

Step 2 :

Number of ways to select the first finisher = 9

Number of ways to select the second finisher = 8 [the first is selected and fixed. So the number of available finishes is reduced by 1]

Number of ways to select the third finisher = 7

Hence the total tickets to be purchased to guarantee the win = 9 × 8 × 7 = 504

Step 3 :

Answer :

The total tickets to be purchased to guarantee the win =  504 tickets
