Am assuming you mean 'the world without us'. Assuming this, the book emphasizes an idea called 'deconstruction' This is the best example of simple cause and effect where entire urban areas over time that are completely abandoned, i.e., "without us" or without humans. With deconstruction over time water would leak into a building, say a home, eventually rotting away the wood and less dense materials leaving only metals like aluminum and copper. Another effect of the deconstruction is that without humans to provide food and warm creatures like mice and cockroaches would die off.

siniylev [52]

the answer is: statue

In law, a statue is a form of law that give some sort of direct command to the citizens.

Because of the nature of a direct command, statue would automatically create either an obligation for citizens to do something or prohibit the citizens to do something.

In Molly's case, the statue prohibit her to talk to her cell phone while driving because it could take her attention away from the street and endanger others.

College students in many instances make a decision on where to live near campus based on price and the number of amenities avail
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

price

Explanation:

It will be easy to provide an example to better illustrate this. Lets suppose that a patient has been diagnosed with cancer and is trying to figure which between chemotherapy or taking drugs is the best treatment. The question this cancer patient is going to ask herself is which among the two will prolong her life. Thus, survival time is the response variable. In our case, the price is the response variable because it is the determining factor of where these college students will live. Amenities somehow affect the price and thus, it will act as the response variable. Price is what we are able to measure and the location which is the students' primary interest lies in our response variable
