Let me set an example to help solve this, say the poster is 100 inches by 90 inches. the length of the poster is reduced by 12% so subtract 12 from 100 to get you new length of 78 inches. the width is increased by 15% so multiply 90 by 15% to get 13.5 inches and add the to the 90 inches you have to get your new width of 103.5 inches. multiply them together to get your new area then divide the new area by the old area, subtract that number by 1 and multiply it by -1.

ANTONII [103]

Answer:

D) a chi square test for independence.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that we  suspect that automobile insurance premiums (in dollars) may be steadily decreasing with the driver's driving experience (in years), so we choose a random sample of drivers who have similar automobile insurance coverage and collect data about their ages and insurance premiums.

We are to check whether two variables insurance premiums and driving experience are associated.

Two categorical variables are compared for different ages and insurance premiums.

Hence a proper test would be

D) a chi square test for independence.

Solve for x 3x−91>−87 OR 21x−17>25
klasskru [66]

Answer:

  x > 4/3

Step-by-step explanation:

The first inequality can be solved this way ...

  3x -91 > -87

  3x > 4 . . . . . . . add 91

  x > 4/3 . . . . . . divide by 3

__

The second inequality has solution ...

  21x -17 > 25

  21x > 42 . . . . . . add 17

  x > 2 . . . . . . . . . divide by 21

__

The solution set is the union of these overlapping solutions, so will be equal to the first solution:

  x > 4/3
