D. free verse, ten

The poem does not have any rhyme or specific structure. This is what makes it free verse. A free verse poetry has no rhyme or meter. The poem is written in 10 lines. Some copies of the poem look like they are twelve lines because two of the lines are so long that depending on the font size used the entire line doesn't fit across the piece of paper. Many times when the line needs to continue to the next row, the line is indented at the continuation. This is why some versions of the poem look like it has twelve lines rather than ten.

Stating "we need to be concerned about tuition increases" rather than "students needs to be concerned about tuition increases" d
chubhunter [2.5K]

Answer:

Ethos

Explanation:

The speaker includes himself and members of the public for those primarily responsible for being concerned with the price of tuition charged to students. This represents the use of ethos, as a rhetorical resource that allows the speaker to present thoughts, positions and attitudes that place him on the same level as the audience, because they equate his character and identification with that of a collectivity.

Identify the term that best describes the italicized words. We left the auditorium before the concert was over. noun clause
BaLLatris [955]
Well, this really depends on the word or words that are italicized. However, I did find somewhere on the Internet that the italicized words are before the concert was over.
If that is the case, then the correct answer is adverbial clause, given that it functions as a simple adverb, that is, it answers the question - when did something happen?
When did we leave the auditorium? - Before the concert was over.
