Devin borrowed $1,058 at 13 percent for nine months.

We have to calculate the interest paid.

Interest = \frac{P \times R \times T}{100}

Substituting the values of

Principal = $1058

Rate = 13%

Time = 9 months = \frac{9}{12} year

Interest = \frac{1058 \times 13 \times 9}{12 \times 100}

Interest = 103.155

= 103.16

So, Devin will pay 103.16 as the interest.

Therefore, Option A is the correct answer.

BaLLatris [955]
For product A, the product is increasing, for the bigger the number you plug into x (due to the fact that the numbers become bigger because of the time: year 1, year 2, etc)
Product A is 82% change rate, while
product B is 983.45/4 = 245.8625,  1756.16/3 = <span>585.3867</span>
Product B is 245.8625/585.3867
product B is 42% change rate

Product A change rate is higher than Product B by 40%

hope this helps

Captain Emily has a ship, the H.M.S Crimson Lynx. The ship is five furlongs from the dread pirate Umaima and her merciless band
LenaWriter [7]

Answer:

The probability that the pirate misses the captain's ship but the captain hits = 0.514

Step-by-step explanation:

Let A be the event that the captain hits the pirate ship

The probability of the captain hitting the pirate ship, P(A) = 3/5

Let B be the event that the pirate hits the captain's ship

The probability of the pirate hitting the captain's ship P(B) = 1/7

The probability of the pirate missing the captain's ship, P'(B) = 1 - P(B)

P'(B) = 1 - 1/7 = 6/7

The probability that the pirate misses the captain's ship but the captain hits = P(A) * P(B) = 3/5 * 6/7

= 0.514

a recipe uses 1 1/4 cups of milk to make 10 servings. if the same amount of milk is used for each serving, how many servings can
Anestetic [448]

Answer:

128 servings can be made using 1 gallon of milk.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

1\frac{1}{4} cups of milk make 10 servings

1\frac{1}{4} can also be written as 1.25

Ratio of cups of milk to servings = 1.25 : 10

1 gallon = 16 cups

Let,

x be the number of servings made from 1 gallon

Ratio of cups of milk to servings = 16 : x

This is a direct proportion

1.25 : 10 :: 16 : x

Product of mean = Product of extreme

10*16 = 1.25x

160 = 1.25x

1.25x=160

Dividing both sides by 1.25

\frac{1.25x}{1.25}=\frac{160}{1.25}\\x=128

Hence,

128 servings can be made using 1 gallon of milk.
