The current lecture cost is $10
The current workshop costs $ 24
The current examination cost $60
The total cost for level one is (10+24+60)=$94

The cost of level 2 will be:
Lecture cost was increased by 20%, new cost will be:
120/100*10
=$12

The workshop cost was increased by 10 %, the new cost will be:
110/100*24=$26.4

The examination cost remained the same. The new total cost for stage 2 will be:
(12+26.4+60)=$98.4

The ballpark made a total of $15,000 from ticket sales at Wednesday's game. The ballpark charges $20 for each adult ticket and $
IRISSAK [1]
<h3>Answer:</h3>

equations

  • 20a +10c = 15000
  • c = 3a

solution

  • 300 adult
  • 900 children's
<h3>Step-by-step explanation:</h3>

Let "a" and "c" represent the numbers of adult and children's tickets sold, respectively. The problem statement tells us two relationships between these values:

... 20a +10c = 15000 . . . . . . total revenue from ticket sales

... c = 3a . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . relationship between numbers of tickets sold

Using the expression for c, we can substitute into the first equation to get ...

... 20a +10(3a) = 15000

... 50a = 15000

... a = 15000/50 = 300 . . . . . adult tickets sold

... c = 3·300 = 900 . . . . . children's tickets sold

The amount of time it takes for a student to complete a statistics quiz is uniformly distributed (or, given by a random variable
topjm [15]

Answer:

(A) 0.15625

(B) 0.1875

(C) Can't be computed

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that the amount of time it takes for a student to complete a statistics quiz is uniformly distributed between 32 and 64 minutes.

Let X = Amount of time taken by student to complete a statistics quiz

So,   X ~ U(32 , 64)

The PDF of uniform distribution is given by;

    f(X) = \frac{1}{b-a} ,  a < X < b      where a = 32 and b = 64

The CDF of Uniform distribution is P(X <= x) = \frac{x-a}{b-a}

(A) Probability that student requires more than 59 minutes to complete the quiz = P(X > 59)

   P(X > 59) = 1 - P(X <= 59) = 1 - \frac{x-a}{b-a} = 1 - \frac{59-32}{64-32} = 1-\frac{27}{32} = 0.15625

(B) Probability that student completes the quiz in a time between 37 and 43 minutes = P(37 <= X <= 43)  = P(X <= 43) - P(X < 37)

    P(X <= 43) = \frac{43-32}{64-32} = \frac{11}{32} = 0.34375

    P(X < 37) = \frac{37-32}{64-32} = \frac{5}{32} = 0.15625

    P(37 <= X <= 43) = 0.34375 - 0.15625 = 0.1875

(C) Probability that student complete the quiz in exactly 44.74 minutes

     = P(X = 44.74)

The above probability can't be computed because this is a continuous distribution and it can't give point wise probability.

Determine the total value of the merchandise using net realizable value. item quantity selling price commission doll 10 $7 $2 ho
NemiM [27]

Quantity of dolls and horses are 10 and 5 respectively .

Selling prices of dolls and horses are $7 and $ 9 respectively .

And the commission on them are $2 and $ 3 respectively .

So net price = 10*(7-2) + 5(9-3) = 10+5 + 5*6 = 50+30 = 80

So the total value of the merchandise using net realizable value is $ 80. Therefore out of the given options, correct option is the last option .
