Answer:

System of equation is

g + r = 15

2g + 4.50r = 37.50

Joyce  needs to mix 3 pounds of raisins and 12 pounds of granola.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Joyce wants to mix granola and raisins together to make a snack for her class. Granola costs $2 per pound and raisins cost $4.50 per pound and Joyce is willing to spend $37.50 and wants to make 15 pounds of trail mix.

We have to write the system of equations could Joyce use to find the amount of  pounds of granola (g) and raisins (r) she should buy.

Consider  she buys g pounds of granola

and r pounds of  raisins.

then total amount of snacks  is 15 pounds

So , this can be written as g + r = 15

Also, Cost of one pound of Granola = $2

So , cost of g  pounds of granola  is 2g

Cost of one pound of Raisins= $4.50

So , cost of r  pounds of Raisins  is 4,50r

She spend  $37.50 on mixture.

2g + 4.50r = 37.50

Thus, we have system as

g + r = 15  .....(1)

2g + 4.50r = 37.50   ....(2)

Solving equation (1) and (2) , we have,

Using elimination method,

Multiply (1) by 2

(1) ⇒ 2g + 2r = 30  ........(3)

Now subtract (3) and (2) , we get,

2g + 4.50r -(2g + 2r) = 37.50 - 30

4.50r - 2r  = 7.50

2.50 r = 7.50

r = 3

Put r = 3 in (1) , we get,

g + r = 15 ⇒ g = 15 - 3 = 12

Thus, Joyce  needs to mix 3 pounds of raisins and 12 pounds of granola.

<2.1130913087, 4.53153893518>;  <−3.03108891325, −1.75>; <−0.91799760455, 2.78153893518>

Step-by-step explanation:

Bruce's vector is <5cos(90-25), 5sin(90-25)> = <5cos(65), 5sin(65)> ≈ <2.1130913087, 4.53153893518>

The wind's vector is <3.5cos(270-60), 3.5sin(270-60)> = <3.5cos(210), 3.5sin(210)>  ≈ <−3.03108891325, −1.75>

You add them together to find his actual motion:

<−0.91799760455, 2.78153893518>

vector u is represented by the directed line segment RS and vector v is represented by the directed line segment OP. if R=(8,-2)
melamori03 [73]

The given points are

R=(8,-2) , S=(11,-6), O=(-3,-9), and P=(0,-13)

To find the value of u and v, we have to perform subtraction of the points . That is

u= RS = =

v = OP =  =

Since we get the same values of u and v , therefore the two vectors are equal .

Answer:

$15.25

Step-by-step explanation:

$7.50+$4.85+$12.25 +$9.00 +$8.15 = $41.75

$28.50*2 = $57.00

So, he needs $57.00- $41.75 = $15.25 more

Ray Of Light [21]

In the given question, it is given that  ramp is 17 feet long, rises 8 feet above the floor, and covers a horizontal distance of 15 feet.

And we have to find the value of tan B.

And tangent of any angle is equal to the ratio of vertical by horizontal. That is:

tanB=8/15

And that's the required missing ratio for tan B.

QUICK QUICK PLZZ! ANSWER QUESTION ONLY 1 MINUTE ONLY WITH SOLUTION! THE YOU WILL BE THE BRAINLIEST
nekit [7.7K]

Answer:

576.2

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for the area of a triangle is \frac{bh}{2}. Since this square pyramid is essentially four triangles with base length 21.5 feet and height 13.4 feet, we can calculate the area that they take up with the formula 4\cdot \frac{13.4\cdot 21.5}{2}=576.2 square feet. Hope this helps!
