Sameer polled a random selection of 120 of the 250 workers at his office to determine whether they were satisfied with their off

ice supply ordering process. The survey showed that 90 of the workers polled were satisfied. With a desired confidence level of 99%, which has a z*-score of 2.58, what is the margin of error of Sameer’s survey?

The margin of error can be calculated with the formula:

ME = z · √(p(1-p)/n)

where:
p = sample proportion
n = sample size
z = z-score

In your case:
p = 90 / 120 = 0.75

ME = 2.58 · √(0.75·0.25/120)
      = 0.10
      = 10%

The margin of error will be 10%.

Yes because any number multiplied by a decimal gets moved over to how ever many decimal places it went. EX 5(.12) = .6. Every time multiplying with a decimal, the answer will always be smaller and include a decimal.

Which statement about the value of x is true?
icang [17]
Answer: x > 38

In this case, x is a exterior angle of the triangle. The exterior angle of a triangle is the sum of the nonadjacent interior angles of the triangle.

Therefore:
x = 38 + 39
x = 77

77 > 38
x > 38

Tanzania [10]

Answer: Inductive Reasoning.

Had to complete the question first.

Maria is writing a list of numbers. She asked Susanne what the next number would be . After looking at the list: 7,14,21,28,35,42,_Susanne states,”the next number will be 49” inductive or deductive.

Step-by-step explanation:

inductive reasoning: This is known as a process of using observations and  examples to reach a conclusion or decision.

When ever a pattern or trend is used to predict the next possible outcome, you are using inductive reasoning. Just like from Maria list Susanne was able to predict that the next number would be 49 because the sequence increases with an interval of 7. ( 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49).
