Answer:

Carlos deposit <u>$240,000 in bank A</u> , <u>$220,000 in bank B</u> and <u>$230,000 in bank C</u> .

Step-by-step explanation:

The total amount Carlos has  $690,000

since, FDIC insurance limit per depositor per bank  is  $250,000

So, Carlos can't deposit $690,000 in one bank directly.

If Carlos deposit $240,000 in bank A

then he left with  $690,000 - $240,000 =$450,000

we divide $450,000 =$220,000 + $230,000

So, Carlos deposit $220,000 in bank B and $230,000 in bank C

Hence, Carlos deposit <u>$240,000 in bank A</u> , <u>$220,000 in bank B</u> and <u>$230,000 in bank C</u> .

Circle C has radius of 10 cm. Each of points B and D is on the midpoint of the radius. Find the area of the shaded region.
olya-2409 [2.1K]
Simple :)
Area of shaded part = are of 1/4 circle - area of both triangles.
Are of circle = pie r^2 so 100x3.14 = 314 cm2.
Area of triangle AOB= area of triangleDOE = bh/2= 5x10/2= 25 each
However, the traingles share a common area which is quad DOB(I)
Lets take traingle AOE, whose are is bh/2=10x10/2=50cm2.
50-area of triangle A(I)E= 50-(

FinnZ [79.3K]

Table is attached below

From the table we can see that the Lemon cost is equal to 35% of the expenses

Let the expense be x, Lemons cost is 70

Lemon cost = 35% * x

70 = 35% * x ( 35% = \frac{35}{100} = 0.35)

70 = 0.35 * x

x = \frac{70}{0.35}

x= 200, Expense = $200

Given : Profit percentage is 15%= \frac{15}{100} = 0.15

Profit = profit percentage * Expense

Profit = 0.15 * 200 = 30

So profit = $30
