Answer:

Laboratory

Explanation:

A Museum Curator, a Microbiologist and a Robotic Engineer all work at the laboratory because they have to study, analyse and test the material they work with. The three professions are related to science and technology. The Museum curator has to trace down the origins of the old bones; the Microbiologist studies the characteristics of organisms and the Robotic Engeineer tests the robots that have been constructed. Alll these activities need the equipment set in laboratories.

I need a preamble of a story that ends with “That experience will linger on my mind for a long time”.
Amanda [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

I left home as early as 7 am, I needed to get to the train station. I did not want to be late on my first day at work. Luckily for me, I was able to get a bus to the train station just on time. I paid for my ticket and sat down whole waiting for the train to move. It was just a few minutes, but the anxiety I felt made it seem as though I'd been sitting for hours.

The train blared its horn, and we moved. I removed my phone to message my partner, to douse the tension I was feeling. I messaged him and he was trying to calm my nerves. I couldn't fathom why I was restless, the adrenaline rush was quite much for me. I asked him for permission to video call, and he accepted, we were conversing if my memory serves me right, he was complimenting me when I heard a loud screech. My phone fell down on the floor right away.

There were screaming everywhere and my head was banging, I was trying to focus but somehow, I was lying down in an unusual manner. I tried to look through the window, and I was seeing the sky. I couldn't piece it all together, but by the time I got to the window, amidst all the chaos in the cabin it finally made sense to me.

The train had derailed!

Which of the following traits are involved in the pre-writing process? Check all that apply. A.Word Choice B.Voice C.Organizatio
oksian1 [2.3K]

Answer:

The pre-writing process involves the organisation (C) and the ideas (D) included in the writing process.

Explanation:

The formation of the ideas are very necessary when the author is preparing to write on a particular theme or the topic. These ideas are further organised with the help of sentences and right words which suits the flow and the content of the writing. The organisation of the sentences sets the tone of writing and interests the readers acknowledging them with the central idea and the concept of writing.

Which sentence might be used to depict the voice of a young character?
LenaWriter [7]

The answer to your question would be that the sentence that can be used to depict the voice of a young character is the following one: We ran the cars and jumped in because we hated school.

I believe that this is the correct answer because of the word choices selected by the speaker. The verbs used are simple verbs of momevent (ran) or phrasal verbs (jumped in). Consequently, the tone is very informal, as opposed to the other sentences which make use of formal word choices adding a lot of description to the passage (eager to jump in our parents' cars, empty parking lot, bursting with excitement, dreaded school, glad to finally be leaving school).
