A.Confidence Level: 99.7%; Confidence Interval: 42 to 48
B.Confidence Level: 95%; Confidence Interval: 43 to 47
 C.Confidence Level: 68%; Confidence Interval: 44 to 46

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

First of all we know that confidence interval includes

Mean + or - z critical value (std deviation)

The larger the confidence level the longer the confidence interval would be.

Here given the confidence level for four research teams each used a different method to collect data on how fast a new strain of maize sprouts

.Confidence Level: 99.7%; Confidence Interval: 42 to 48

B.Confidence Level: 95%; Confidence Interval: 43 to 47

C.Confidence Level: 68%; Confidence Interval: 44 to 46

D.Confidence Level: 95%; Confidence Interval: 44 to 46

Comparing B and D we find that D is having less std deviation as length is narrower.

Comparing D with C, we conclude that for same 44 to 46 C used only 68%

So C must have had higher std dev than D

Similarly A and D comparison shows that A has more longer interval and more std deviation.

So answer is D which has the smallest std dev

saveliy_v [14]
This is an expression if she only gets pedicure
y = 35

If she wants to get massage, multiply the cost for a minute with the number of minutes.
Find cost per minute first
cost = 50/20
cost = 2.5

So the expression would be
y = 35 + 2.5x
y = 2.5x + 35

Food costs are expected to rise 6% each month for the next year. Which series correctly depicts the cost (to the nearest cent) f
alexira [117]
For this case we have the following equation:
 y = 150 * (1.06) ^ t
 For the first month we have:
 y = 150 * (1.06) ^ 1
 y = 159 $
 For the second month we have:
 y = 150 * (1.06) ^ 2
 y = 168.54 $
 For the third month we have:
 y = 150 * (1.06) ^ 1
 y = 178.65 $
 Answer:

d. $ 159.00 + $ 168.54 + $ 178.65

Use the data in the table to complete the sentence. x y –2 7 –1 6 0 5 1 4 The function has an average rate of change of ________
lora16 [44]

Answer:  To find the average rate of change, evaluate the function at the given points.

Evaluate the difference of the function at the given points.

Divide the difference of the function at the given points with the difference of the given points.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Average of rate is -1.

Everytime it goes up by one the y goes down by 1 so it would be -1.
