The correct answer is the following.

Two criticisms that Chief Washakie had against the white man or the Federal goverment were: 1) that the white men or Federal government had taken their lands and 2) they did not give the Indian tribe supplies.

Chief Washakie refers to the white man as “the white man, who possesses the country from sea to sea and can live wherever he likes…” as a way to say that the white man wrongly believed he dominated the territory as it were his territory. The other criticism refers to the situation of if the Indians accepted the small portion of land where they were sent, the government was going to send them supplies to support them, but that never happened.

Chief Washakie was the brave warrior leader of the Shoshone tribe in Wyoming.

crimeas [40]

The correct answer is D.

The cost has risen 1,000$ (comparting the 1500$ he had paid, with the 2500$ his friend has offered for the vacation, 1000$ is the amount he would miss if rejecting the offer plus the value of the activity he would do instead of the skiing vacation).

This cost rise represents the concept of opportunity cost. It is referred, when making a decision, to the value that is missed when rejecting the alternative option.
