Answer:

\frac{c+d}{7}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Number of red roses = c,

Number of yellow roses = d,

Total roses = c + d,

Now, the number bouquets Ellen has to make = 7,

Hence, the roses in each bouquet

=\frac{\text{Total number of roses}}{\text{Total bouquets}}

=\frac{c+d}{7}

The number of roses = C + D. The total has to be divisible by 7. If just one is then you will have roses left over. So C can be divisible by 7  and D can be divisible by 7. Or if you are careful, the total can be divisible by 7.

Take an example.
8 + 6 = 14 which will give you exactly 2 bouquets. Yet neither number is divisible by 7.

Or you could have 42 + 21 = 63 which would give you 7 bouquets of flowers.

I'm making so many comments about this because there is no remainder and we have to explain why.

So the answer is
(C + D)/7 is the number of possible bouquets <<<<< answer.

A coach is buying snacks for 22 players at a soccer match. She pays a total of $77 to
kaheart [24]

Answer: C the price of a water bottle

Step-by-step explanation: The problem states that the energy bar is $2 so it can’t be D. The math problem also states how many players they have so it’s not B. The math problem says how much they paid which is $77 so it’s not A. However the problem doesn’t state how much the price of a water bottle is so therefore it is C.

The product of two numbers is 450. the first number is half the second number. which equation can be used to find x, the greater
kow [346]
X*y = 450
y = 1/2x

x(1/2x) = 450
1/2x^2 = 450
x^2 = 450 * 2
x^2 = 900
x = sqrt 900
x = 30

y = 1/2(30)
y = 15

so ur numbers are : x = 30 and y = 15...but I am not sure of ur answer choices.

Which order pair is a solution to the system of linear equations -4+y=8 and x-5y=17?
andreev551 [17]

Hello!

To find this ordered pair, we solve for x and y and put them together in an ordered pair.

-4+y=8

x-5y=17

Let's solve the first equation for y.

y= 12

Now, let's plug 12 into the second equation for y.

x-5(12)=17

x-60=17

x=77

Therefore, our ordered pair is (77,12)

I hope this helps!
