PLEASE MARK BRAINLIEST!

Answer:

See below:

Explanation:

A - Lawrence Kohlberg interviewed a group of young men about moral decision making.

D - Preconventional reasoning is based on following one’s moral principles, but Postconventional reasoning is based on doing what is best for oneself.

D - “Once a person begins to think in a Stage 5 way about what benefits the community as a whole, they will almost never go back to a Stage 2 level of looking out for themselves first.” ( Paragraph 16)

B - Kohlberg could understand how people decided what was the right thing to do.

Write a summary of the article “How do we tell right from wrong?”

--> Sorry friend, you're going to have to write the summary yourself.

I hope this helps! I was not fully sure if the answer was C or D for the third question, but I put D because preconventional reasoning is external (if that makes sense). Have a good night!

- sincerelynini

How does the section "You've Got To Think Ahead" best contribute to the development of ideas in the Newsela article "50 Below is
Tresset [83]

Answer:

C. It describes how Alaskans adapt to the cold weather to carry out their daily tasks.

Explanation:

In the section "You've Got To Think Ahead" we read a part of an interview with a local woman Cynthia Erickson who manages a grocery store. The traffic is out of order due to weather circumstances. With a long experience in living in Alaska, Cynthia, like many other Alaskans, has to think ahead, so she followed the weather forecast and she supplied her store the week before. People continue to function even under those conditions, they dress well and head out to the store. So, this section describes how Alaskans overcome and adapt to weather difficulties in everyday life.

siniylev [52]

The correct answer is B) The first excerpt uses facts and statistics and the second excerpt is told as a story.

We can clearly appreciate how despite both excerpts have the same theme they relay the information in different ways. The first excerpt is clearly an article about Kids from Honduras who were leaving their country due to violence and the author uses statistics to prove his/her point whereas the second one is an excerpt from 'Entrique's Journey' that's related to the refugee situation..

Consider how cultural diversity defines American society and literature. Is the American identity static or fluid over time? How
noname [10]

Answer:

The American society is composed of an ethnical mix, with members of many nations which blend into one unique American identity, while keeping their authenticity. This authenticity can be seen clearly in the cultural diversity. Just like any other identity, American is fluid over time. It changes and alters, in accordance with societal changes. Identities are not carved in stone. While we have every right to actively participate in the process of fashioning our identities, they still have a relative autonomy, and change over time. For example, if I am an Italian immigrant who lives in the U.S., I still have every right to claim my Italian cultural inheritance, but it doesn't make me less of an American. By living in America, I am adopting new cultural traits. My children will have their own perception of their cultural identity that doesn't have to be the same as mine.
