A food establishment is an operation that stores, prepares, packages, serves, vends, delivers or otherwise produces food for human consumption. Food that is offered in food establishments should come from local-approved food sources. They can use produce that they grow themselves or from agricultural producers that should be licensed and are responsible to assure that their produce is safe (complying applicable laws). The producer has to have a United States Department of Agriculture inspected plant. Food establishments should obtain produce from those who have been certified in Good Agricultural Practices and Good Handling Practices.

Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Answer:

Courtney is looking at Prokaryotic Cell.

Explanation:

Ok, when Courtney is observing the science experiment, and finds a cell that includes DNA and has a nucleoid region but does not have nucleus, it is a prokaryotic cell and only the single-celled organisms of the domains Bacteria and Archaea are classified as prokaryotes, where pro means before and kary means nucleus.

Let's explain what is a prokaryotic cell: prokaryotes are unicellular organisms that lack organelles or other internal membrane-bound structures. Therefore, they do not have a nucleus, but, instead, generally have a single chromosome: a piece of circular, double-stranded DNA located in an area of the cell called the nucleoid. And most prokaryotes have a cell wall outside the plasma membrane.

The diploid number of chromosomes in the mustard plant, Arabidopsis thaliana, is 10. Knowing this, answer the following question
Maslowich

Answer:

10 chromosomes

Explanation:

Ten (10) chromosomes would be found in each cell of Arabidopsis thaliana during prophase.

The prophase stage represents the first stage of the mitotic division immediately after the interphase. A diploid cell has 2n number of chromosomes and the ploidy level of a cell remains intact throughout the interphase to the prophase stage of mitosis.

At the prophase, the chromosomes of a cell only condense and become visible under the microscope. Each chromosome is seen as being consisting of two sister chromatids joined together by a structure known as the centromere.

Hence, the number of chromosomes in the cells of Arabidopsis thaliana would remain the same even at the prophase stage of mitosis.

The chloroplasts of flowering land plants typically contain at least two photosynthetic pigments, chlorophyll a and chlorophyll
ruslelena [56]

Answer:

a) Photosystem I requires the use of light converting an excited NADP + electron, reducing it to NADPH. In photosystems I and II, the passage of electrons to a series of redox reactions will be shown due to the absorption of light energy by the chlorophyll molecules.

(b) The control must be RuBisco, because for most photosynthesis responses to light, temperature and carbon dioxide, it produces oxygenation and carboxylation reactions, thus reflecting kinetic properties.

(c) plants can increase the ability in a variable ecosystem thanks to the flexibility of photosynthetic pigments, through these the necessary solar energy for photosynthesis is captured, according to each light spectrum there will be a specific pigment.

In a cyclic population _____.
Lana71 [14]

Correct answer choice is:

B. Populations increase and decrease in a regular predictable pattern.

Explanation:

A population cycle in biology is a process where populations increase and decrease over an anticipated duration of time. There are many classes where population figures have logically anticipated models of reform although the full incentives for population cycles are one of the significant unsolved environmental difficulties.
