The correct answer for number one is True since there are many genres that can be organized into categories. False is the answer in number two because a book or movie can have more than one genre. An example is Harry Potter because it includes the elements of mystery, adventure, drama and romance. For number three, the right answer is False. Science fiction deals with imaginative scientific concepts. A literature piece or movie can be set in the future without focusing on scientific innovations. The answer for number four is True as gangster films or mob films is a sub genre of crime films.

Dvinal [7]

Answer:

Violet and Peony’s father is the minor character in the story. He is static and flat. Mr. Lindsey is defined by his common sense personality. His personality stays the same throughout the story. Even after seeing the unique appearance of the snow-image, he doesn’t believe that it’s a miracle. When he tries to apply logic to the situation by warming the snow-image in the house, he destroys it.

Study the editorial cartoon by Signe Wilkinson. A man sits, sweating on a city sidewalk. A passerby also looks hot and sweaty, a
xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer:

The question is incomplete. The editorial cartoon image is lacking. Here is the image the question's referring to.

The details that best support the purpose of this editorial cartoon are:

 • the "will work for air conditioning" sign
 • the rat sweating on the sidewalk
 • the comfortable man in the air-conditioned car

Explanation:

There are a number of details to consider in the editorial cartoon to understand its message. It includes the man holding the sign, the rat, and the man riding in an air-conditioned car.

But, if you look closely, Signe Wilkinson signed this on 7-6-2010 for the Philadelphia Daily News. It is better to know this date and place. But what is its importance? During this time, the Philadelphia set a new record regarding heatwave. The temperature reached 103 degrees breaking the old record of 98 degrees in 1994.

Climate change and global warming clearly affect people in the middle class or the working class who cannot afford to buy an air-conditioned car. And they are willing to work on breathing cold air. It also displays that not only humans are affected by a heatwave, but also animals, thus, the sweating rat.

During this time, in 2010, people have died because of the heatwave. And the air conditioning business was booming because of in-demand repairs.
