Objective is to feed buns and hot dogs to 500 hundred people

In a picnic

Let x be the number of packets   of buns and y be the number of packets of hot dogs

Since one packet has 8 buns and 10 hot dogs, so we have 8x number of buns and 10y hot dogs

Also 8x=10y(given)

Since we have to feed at least 500 people, we take x=64 and y=50 to make the minimum number of

People to feed as 500

8×64=512 and 10×50= 500

Since the total number of buns and hot dogs are not equal, we need to increase the number of packets one by one accordingly to make the total number.

Take x=65 and y=52 we get

8×65=520

10×52=520

As number of buns and hot dogs are equal that is 520.

Therefore the required answer is (65,52).

Assume that the national average score on a standardized test is 1010, and the standard deviation is 200, where scores are norma
kotykmax [81]

Answer:

0.00

Step-by-step explanation:

If the national average score on a standardized test is 1010, and the standard deviation is 200, where scores are normally distributed, to calculate the probability that a test taker scores at least 1600 on the test, we should first to calculate the z-score related to 1600. This z-score is z=\frac{1600-1010}{200}=2.95, then, we are seeking P(Z > 2.95), where Z is normally distributed with mean 0 and standard deviation 1. Therefore, P(Z > 2.95) = 0.00

Craig ran the first part of a race with an average speed of 8 miles per hour and biked the second part of a race with an average
enot [183]
Then, 15 - x is the distance ran in the second part.
The time, t1, for the first part is t1 = xmi / 8mi/h
The time, t2, for the second part is t2 = (15 - x)mi / 20mi/h
The total time is t1 + t2 = 1.125 h
Then x/8 + (15 - x) / 20 = 1.125
To solve for x, multiply both sides by 40 (this is the least common multiple)
5x + 30 - 2x = 45
3x = 15

to find x divide: 15/3=5

And 15 - x = 10 mi.
First part:
Speed: 8mi/h
Distance: 5 mi
Time: 5mi/8mi/h = 5/8 h = 37.5 minutes
Second part
Speed: 20 mi/h
Distance: 10 mi
Average speed: 15mi/1.125h =13.33 mi/h
Distance: 15mi
Time: 1.125 h = 67.5 minutes

A delivery truck is stocked with boxes of leather footballs. The graph shows the relationship between the number of footballs an
pashok25 [27]

Answer:

21

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the answer, you'd have to continue tracing the diagonal line until it intersects with the vertical line that corresponds to the number 3.

If you do that, you'll see that in3 boxes, there are 21 footbals.

You can also calculate it mathematically:

If you have 7 balls per box as shown in the graph, you just have to multiply 7 by 3 to know how many balls you'll find in 3 boxes. 7 * 3 = 21.

Hope it helped,
