Find the GCF of 24 and 30 to calculate how many necklaces can be made.

24: 2 x 2 x <u>2 x 3</u> 30: <u>2 x 3</u> x 5 GCF: 6

What is leftover (in bold)? that is how many beads are in each of the 6 necklaces.

4 jade beads and 5 teak beads

Answer: 6 necklaces, 4 jade, 5 teak

A kind teacher gives you 20 cents for every question you get right, but you have to pay the
sergey [27]

Answer:

Let n be the number of questions you got right. Then

30-n equals the number of questions you got wrong.

So:

A) 20n-10(30-n)=180

30n-300=180

30n=480

n=16

30-n=14

B)You got <u>16</u> questions right and <u>14</u> questions wrong.

A sample with a sample proportion of 0.4 and which of the following sizes will produce the widest 95% confidence interval when e
Fed [463]

Answer:

C. 50

Step-by-step explanation:

In a sample with a number n of people surveyed with a probability of a success of \pi, and a confidence level of 1-\alpha, we have the following confidence interval of proportions.

\pi \pm z\sqrt{\frac{\pi(1-\pi)}{n}}

In which

z is the zscore that has a pvalue of 1 - \frac{\alpha}{2}.

The margin of error is:

M = z\sqrt{\frac{\pi(1-\pi)}{n}}

The higher the margin of error, the wider an interval is.

As the sample size increases, the margin of error decreases. If we want a widest possible interval, we should select the smallest possible confidence interval.

So the correct answer is:

C. 50

Now imagine that instead of walking along the path 1→2→3→4→1, ann walks 80 meters on a straight line 33∘ north of east starting
stealth61 [152]

Answer:

Anna's walk  as a vector representation is 80\cos 33^{\circ}\hat{i}+80 \sin33^{\circ}\hat{j} and refer attachment.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the origin be the point 1 from where Ann start walking.

Ann walks 80 meters on a straight line 33° north of the east starting at point 1 as shown in figure below,

Resolving into the vectors, the vertical component will be 80Sin33° and Horizontal component will be 80Cos33° as shown in figure (2)

Ann walk as a vector representation is 80\cos 33^{\circ}\hat{i}+80 \sin33^{\circ}\hat{j}

Thus, Anna's walk  as a vector representation is 80\cos 33^{\circ}\hat{i}+80 \sin33^{\circ}\hat{j}
