The reason why I write you an email today is to address the concern about my suggestions in regards to the areas of discretionary federal funding in the present year compared to the 2016 budget. President Obama released his fiscal proposal making sure our nations priorities were all covered. The following were; $1.3 Trillion on which:

- 54% is used in Military

- 6% is used in Medicare, Education, Veteran Benefits, Housing and Community

- 5% is used in Government

- 4% is used in Energy, Employment, International Affairs

- 3% is used in Science

- 2% is used in Transportation

- 1% is used in Food and Agriculture

For this year, there is an increase projected in the spending bill originally budgeted by Trump. According to the CBO this increase or deficit has been the fifth highest in the USA, making Trump the third-highest deficit in history.

Personally, the top three areas that should be focused and improved in comparison to the 2016 budget are Education, Employment and the Agriculture Department.

For instance, the USDA is cutting off staff and this affects also the employment area.

In regards to Education, the debt instilled in students is very high, scholarships, aid and grants should be considered in private and state schools.

Given the importance of these areas for many of the citizens of the country, it is appreciated that you take into account this proposal to benefit the economy of the country.

The top three areas of discretionary spending in the 2015 federal budget are net interest, other income security, and defense ongoing operations. In future budgets, I believe that the federal government should increase funding for military personnel, education and job training, and pollution control.

According to the 2015 federal budget, the federal government will spend $250,914 million on ongoing defense operations, equipment, and supplies. It will spend $148,125 million on military personnel. I believe that military personnel should receive more funding next year as it will indirectly help to increase the defense level of the nation.

Another area that should receive an increase is education and job training. I believe that proper job training and other practical job-oriented courses for youth will help reduce unemployment. Investing in human labor leads to the development of skills, which in turn results in greater productivity.

Finally, with the increase in the number of automobiles and factories, the level of pollution has increased tremendously. Investing more in pollution control measures will help every one of us and reduce the health hazards caused by pollution.
