The Cordova Rebellion was an uprising which occurred near the town of Nacogdoches, Texas in 1838. It was led by Vicente Cordova, who served a function similar to the one of a major for this town.

Cordova, among other leaders of the area, supported the Revolution of Texas as long as it espoused a return to the US Constitution of 1824. However, after the independence was claimed they opted to oppose the Texas Republic, leading to this event. Córdova was eventually defeated by US General Edward Burleson.
