Verlin's source ideas for his startup came from his work experience in a cabinet shop. He has already worked in a cabinet shop and obviously enjoys what he does but he wants to implement his own ideas about efficiency so he decides to own his own shop where he can run the shop exactly the way he wants to. Without previous work experience though he would not have been able to do this.
