Two parent mice with black fur have offspring with white hair.

Since both are heterozygous, that means they both have a dominant and recessive allele, but since they have a dominant, that trait is displayed. Since both also have a recessive allele, there is a possibility that they can have offspring with a recessive trait.

In other words, if you have 2 heterozygous parents that show a dominant allele, offspring that display the recessive allele is possible.

Hope this helps :)

velikii [3]

Answer:

(a).concentrated lactic acid and that of NAD+.

(b).use of the response of NAD+ and lactic acid in absence of vitamin treatment as the CONTROL.

Explanation:

To understand this question and be able to solve this question efficiently we have to understand the concept of "respiration''. But, the short and the most simple answer to the question above can be found in the first statement of the question.

The electron transport chain include the cycle that occurs during glycolysis, fermentation and the transformation of NAD+ to form NADH and vice versa.

In the research, the dependent variable is the concentrated lactic acid and that of NAD+.

In order to increase the validity of the experiment, the Researcher can make use of the response of NAD+ and lactic acid in absence of vitamin treatment as the CONTROL.

Which chemical shown in figure 8-3 is an electron carrier molecule
Semmy [17]

Ans.

An electron carrier is defined as a molecule, which is capable of receiving one or more electrons from an electron donating molecule (electron donor). In given figure, molecule NADP (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate) is acting as an electron carrier that accepts electrons form chlorophylls and form NADPH.

Thus, the correct answer is 'option C). NADP.'

Pros and cons of canopy fogging
pishuonlain [190]

Pros:

It is (mostly) based on pyrethrine spray which kills the insects rapidly.

It not poisonous to other animals.

It uses synthetic, natural spray which is safe to use because it breaks down within 10 minutes.

Te technique can reach tall forests.

It can be used in closed spaces ( greenhouses, basements etc).

Cons:

It requires windless circumstances ( which is mostly at nights).

Breathing fog may cause respiratory and throat irritation to some.

3) The dimensions of your living room are 13 ft. by 16 ft. How many square meters of carpet
mixas84 [53]

Answer:

19.32 m²

Explanation:

The area of a living room is the product of its length and breadth. The area is given by:

Area = length × breadth

1 meter = 3.28 feet. Hence:

Length = 16 ft

16 ft = 16\ ft*\frac{1\ m}{3.28\ ft} =4.88\ m

Breadth = 13 ft

13 ft = 13\ ft*\frac{1\ m}{3.28\ ft} =3.96\ m

Area = length × breadth = 4.88 m × 3.96 m = 19.32 m²

Hence 19.32 m² of carpet is needed for the living room
