The immature stages in complete and incomplete metamorphosis are called as larva and nymph, respectively.

Further Explanation:

Metamorphosis defines as the animal develops after birth physically. This involves abrupt change in the structure of the animal’s body via cell growth as well as differentiation. Certain amphibians, insects, fishes, and echinoderms undergo this process. Animals are segregated into the species which undergo complete metamorphosis or holometaboly, incomplete metamorphosis or hemimetaboly, and no metamorphosis.

Complete metamorphosis is basically a kind of development observed in insects.

It include four life phases:

• Egg

• Larva

• Pupa

• Adult

The larva is the second phase and lacks sexual maturity. In this stage , the larva begins eating and do not possess wings.

Incomplete metamorphosis refers to the developmental mode of some insects which involves three phases, the egg, nymph, and adult phase. Such groups go via gradual alterations and there is the absence of the pupal phase. Nymph is second phase and overall form already looks like an adult, except that it lacks wings. Nymph lacks maturity and undergoes many phases of development known as instars.

Answer: 1. larva, 2. nymph

Explanation:

In complete metamorphosis the precursor of insect undergoes with four distinct stages to develop into complete adult insect. These are egg, larva, pupa and adult.

In incomplete metamorphosis the insect precursor hatches from an egg and then goes through several nymphal stages similar to adult.

Therefore, in complete metamorphosis the immature stage is called as larva and in the incomplete metamorphosis the immature stage is called as nymph.

Classifying the characteristics of dna, mrna, and trna determine from the description if each characteristic applies to dna, mrn
Jlenok [28]
The DNA, mRNA and tRNA are the essential nucleic acids that initiate protein synthesis. The DNA contains the genetic code of our human body in the form of chromosomes. It is composed of nucleic acids like uracil (U), guanine (G), adenine (A) and cytosine (C). The messenger RNA or mRNA carries this code called codons expressed in three-letter codes. Each amino acid has its own assignment of code. The mRNA carries this code to the ribosome which is the site for protein synthesis. The translational RNA or tRNA contains anti-codons to translate the codes in the mRNA into amino acids that link together to form proteins.
