Answer:

Dopamine is the correct answer. Dopamine would be the neurotransmitter expected to be seen in high quantities in the brain of someone who has be rewarded.

Explanation:

Dopamine can be described as an important chemical that serves both as a hormone and as a neurotransmitter in the body.

One of the dopamine pathways in the brain is involved in sending signals for the reward system. This system is responsible for the generation of signals for reward or craving for rewards, positive attitude, pleasure etc. Hence, the neurotransmitter, dopamine would be present in enhanced quantities in the brain of a person who has been rewarded with pay raise.

Science when birds remain airborne and moving without flapping their wings, on what are they gliding?
Citrus2011 [14]

Soaring is a science when birds remain airborne and moving without flapping their wings. They are maintaining thrust and gliding downward but staying aloft

Further explanation

Soaring birds is where the birds can maintain flight without wing flapping, because they using rising air currents. Many gliding birds are able to lock their extended wings by means of a specialized tendon. Some land birds such as vultures and certain hawks, sustain flight for long periods without flapping their wings.

For example soaring California Condor spreads its primary feathers so that each acts as a small, high-aspect-ratio wing. This reduces turbulence at the wingtips and helping the condor to stay aloft circling slowly in thermals.

Vultures have a low aspect ratio (ratio of length to width of the wing) which generally produce a lot of drag. Vultures overcome the problem of by flying with their primary feathers extended, creating slots between them. Each primary serves as an individual high-aspect-ratio wing. This high-aspect-ratio reducing wingtip turbulence and lowering the stalling speed of the wings. This helps vultures to circle in thermals, maintaining thrust by gliding downward, but staying aloft by sinking at a rate slower than the hot air rising.

This seems to be the best answer: C. The data does not take into account underground growth and the actual area of fungus spread may be larger, so the original conclusion of the experiment is not accurate.

Below are three different scenarios for comparison. For each scenario, decide if it represents greater or less entropy and great
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

Entropy is characterized as a level of irregularity or disorder in a system. More the disorder more is the Entropy. The greatest entropy is accomplished when the system is in equilibrium.

In a similar manner, stability is legitimately relative to entropy. Therefore, more entropy, more is the stability and the other way around.

Assume that a particular human cell is examined under a microscope, and it contains 22 autosomes and a Y chromosome. This cell i
frez [133]

Answer:

A sperm cell

Explanation:

A diploid cell has 46 chromosomes which is normally signified by somatic cells. Germ cells or gametes are haploid cells therefore they contain only 23 chromosomes. Male gamete contains 22 autosomes and one sex chromosome. That sex chromosome can be X or Y.

Female gamete does not have Y chromosome as a sex chromosome, it has only X chromosome as a sex chromosome. So Y chromosome in a human cell which have 22 autosomes determines that it is a male gametic cell or a sperm cell. Sperm cells that have a Y chromosome if fuses with female gamete produce male offspring(XY).

So the correct answer is- a sperm cell.
