Answer:

c. messages that are clear and own a speaker's thoughts and feelings

Explanation:

This message is not clear, as she is just insulting her little brother, she needs to say what is bothering her, and how could he change that and how does that makes her feel, not just insult her brother and storm off, she could use cooperative verbal communication to communicate her feelings and thoughts so her brother can understand her better and can change what he could be doing to bother her.

The answer is C. Sarah has to speak clearly about what she wants and feels. Saying “You are such a moron” explains nothing about what she wants, she just insults his brother.

EXPLANATION

Verbal communication is all about language, not including body language. The language can be in the form of writing or speaking. Verbal communication focuses on the words that we use, and not for other things than words, such as body language, silence, and gestures.

There are several differences between spoken and written communication. The differences include pragmatic rules and how to use symbols for a certain meaning. Verbal communication can be used to define reality. It can define basically anything, from experiences, objects, thoughts, feelings, emotions, ideas, and even people. Verbal communication is also how we define and label all the things that are happening in our lives.

We do not only use verbal communication to describe things, but to evaluate things too. So instead of only stating that the weather is bad, you also evaluate how you feel about it. Whether you are sad, disappointed, or happy, all of it can be evaluated and explained through verbal communication.

This also reflects on how we use verbal communication to define our reality on a daily basis. People can make choices in what they want to define in their lives using verbal communication. Therefore, verbal communication is important in our lives, and we should use it wisely with a good purpose in our daily lives.

The correct answer is the conflict theory of political and economic systems.

The conflict theory of political and economic systems is a theory which states that power and wealth lie in the hands of few members of society because there are limited resources available, and thus, constant competition to acquire these resources. Afina-wow [57]

The factor which as very unlikely to have influenced the high levels of obedience observed in the Milgram is an aspect of gender-related behavior found only in males. Factors such as the instruction of a perceived authority figure, putting the ‘teacher’ and ‘learner’ in different rooms, a steady increase of shock level were more likely to have influenced the observed level of obedience.

8_murik_8 [283]

Answer:

The conflict theorist would argue from the point of view of the society being in perpetual competition as a result of inequality of distribution of resources and power. The rich would not pave the way for cheaper technology as a result of them purchasing early version of expensive technologies but rather, everyone would aspire to be the first to buy such early version of technology due to prestige associated with it.

On the long run, the conflict theorists makes more sense due to the fact that, as more people aspire to buy the early version of technologies, it creates extraordinary demand for the goods. this would force the manufacturers to employ more workers inorder to meet up with the demand thereby leading to fall in the prices of such goods. An example is the Toyota brand cars that is popular in some countries.

The table shows the population of Center City in various years. Use the data from 1990 and 2005 to create a linear model thi
balandron [24]

Taking years as input variable and population of that city as output variable, let y represent the population after 1985 and y represent the population in and index of 1000. Linear regression is a modeling relationship that exists between the variable.

The equation, therefore, can be derived in Y=a+bX. In this case, Y is the independent variable that is drawn on the axis of the graph while X represents the variable plotted on the x-axis of the graph; finally, b is line slope.
