Answer:

Explanation:

Given that X is a random variable representing the number of workers who are reducing the amount of vacation.

Here each worker is independent of the other.

And also there are only two outcomes yes or no.

So X is binomial

Success is the random worker saying they are reducing the amount of vacation.

p = Probability for a random worker who say they are reducing the amount of vacation.

=59% =0.59

n=20 (no of workers surveyed)

X can take values as 0,1,2.....20

(since sample size = 20)

Imagine that you have just moved into a house with four other people. One of your housemates, Tony, doesn't seem to like you all
Softa [21]

Answer:

C. ask Tony if he could give you a ride to the grocery store

Explanation:

The Ben Franklin effect (named after Benjamin Franklin and his quote "He that has once done you a kindness will be more ready to do you another, than he whom you yourself have obliged") is the psychological theory that proposes the person is more likely to adopt admiration towards us if they perform a favor for us than if we perform a favor for them.

The explanation is that people usually help others because they like them, therefore if we do something for another person our brain (due to cognitive dissonance) will switch to thinking that we liked them in the first place.

This is why if we ask Tony to drive us and he agrees he might develop a liking towards us, thinking he did us a favor because of the admiration and his own attraction towards us.

mariarad [96]

The main points should have been arranged in causal order and the main points don't divide the topic consistently.

Option: A and C

Explanation:

Main points for a speech about the achievements of Ida Wells-Barnett violate the guidelines presented in your textbook for organizing main points. Proper guidelines should be maintained and for that all the points should have been arranged in causal order and the main points don't divide the topic consistently.

According to the time of event or time occurrence achievement list would be prepared and point wise division should not split the consistency of the topic. If it is then the relevance would get disturbed.
