The random variable represents the number of workers who are reducing the amount of vacation. Decide whether the experiment is a binomial experiment. Answer:

Explanation:

Given that X is a random variable representing the number of workers who are reducing the amount of vacation.

Here each worker is independent of the other.

And also there are only two outcomes yes or no.

So X is binomial

Success is the random worker  saying they are reducing the amount of vacation.

p = Probability for a random worker who say they are reducing the amount of vacation.

=59% =0.59

n=20 (no of workers surveyed)

X can take values as 0,1,2.....20

(since sample size = 20)

If John had total satisfaction which would mean that he has zero costs and all benefits he would stick to the relationship so he moves from the relationship if he considers that there are fewer costs in a relationship with another person and can only stay in that relationship if it has the lowest costs and highest benefits compared to other relationships.

Hoochie [10]

Answer:

Chocolate (Independent variable)

Explanation:

The independent variable is manipulative. The experimenter can manipulate it. It produces one or more results in a study called the dependent variable. It is called the independent variable because its variation doesn't depend on another variable in an experiment. The independent variable can be controlled or manipulated only by the researcher or experimenter.

For example:

Amount of water and fertilizer provide a tree. Water and fertilizer is an (independent variable) which can be manipulated by the experimenter.

Result: Height of the tree depends on water and fertilizer quantity (dependent variable) which can not be manipulated by researcher.
