Answer:

Any study where group belonging is an independent variable or an inclusion condition.

Explanation:

Every scientific study must have at least one independent and one dependent variable. Independent variables are the information we have and their values are not determined by other variables. Age, gender, height or weight could be independent variables. Dependent variables are the ones we are trying to predict or control based on the independent variables we have. If we use a group variable as either an independent variable or an inclusion condition, results could be generalized to the whole group and if the results are "negative" or undesirable socially, it could lead to stigmatization. For example, imagine a study trying to find differences in IQ between children from different ethnic groups. If there were differences to be found, some people might think the conclusion is some groups are smarter than others and it would definitely lead to stigmatization of the worst scoring group

Answer:

stay the same.

Explanation:

Expansionary monetary policy means that a central bank is using its tools to manipulate the economy. It does that by increasing the money supply, aggregate demand and lowering the interest rates. This type of policy is opposite to the contractionary monetary policy.

On the other side, when government spending increases the budget deficit, the Treasury issues more bonds. This reduces the price of bonds and raise the interest rate. Or in our example, the aforementioned lower interest rate gets back to where it was. This process could lead to disruption in the economy.

Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

Janet stops parking in handicapped spaces after she gets a big parking ticket. - Positive Punishment

Peter’s recess is taken away to discourage him from getting into fights with the other children. - Negative Punishment

Ted increases paying his bills on time to avoid a late fee. - Negative Reinforcement

Sally increases the amount of work she completes to receive more pay. - Positive Reinforcement

Explanation:

In operant conditioning, the main principle is that behavior increases or decreases its frequency depending on whether it's reinforced or punished. A behavior can be reinforced by giving something the subject appreciates, like more pay for their work (positive reinforcement) or taking away something they dislike, like late fees (negative reinforcement). Punishments work the same way, you can give something the subject dislikes, like a parking ticket, (positive punishment) or taking away something they like recess for a child. (negative punishment).
