Lauren is clearly going to make an awful professor. Nearly half of her students failed their final this past spring. She should

probably choose another career path, because her students’ performance demonstrates that she doesn’t teach very well. What statement, if true, most weakens the argument above? A This was Lauren’s second time teaching a college class. B The class Lauren was teaching is a required class for all freshmen. C The students who failed the exam also had poor attendance. D The students who passed the exam attended an optional review session Lauren’s teaching assistant held. E Lauren struggled early in the semester with lesson planning.

Answer:C The students who failed the exam also had poor attendance.

Explanation:If the students did not attend the class it means they did not get most out of the lecture and they probably missed out on most lessons hence that can also be used to explain the failing rate.

When that can be true then the blame can not be 100% on the professor's ability to teach because if he is teaching and they are not present it can be expected that they will not do well on the subject whether he is good or not .

What Solutions to population growth
might a penson from Europe suggest?
Natasha2012 [34]

Answer:

A person from Europe would probably advice measures that have been taken in Europe in the past, and that have been shown to work there, since population growth in Europe has been falling steadily since the mid 20th century.

Explanation:

Some of these measures are: involving women in the labor force, because working women tend to have less children than non-working women. Increasing education levels for all people, because highly educated people tend to have less children than less educated people, and finally, making birth control methods and sexual education readily available since teenagehood (this has the added value of preventing teenage pregnancies).

Answer:

Pericles used the principle of fair treatment to the public in his speech.

 • The excerpt of the speech given by Pericles in the fifth century BCE clarifies that the laws that were existent during the time were inclined towards dispensing justice to the majority and not just favor the ones in power.
 • It also tells that the Athenian administration was intelligent enough to devise and implement what was good for their citizens and not simply rely on what the neighboring states were doing to improve their administration.

cestrela7 [59]

Answer:

A field research

Explanation:

Carla noticed that most students got to the college around 8:00 am, and proposed that in order to get a good parking spot, a student would need to get to the college before 7:45 am. She decided to observe for a few weeks to see if she was right. This type of research is a field research.

Observational studies, survey research and data collection are examples of field research. Notice that Carla did not notify anyone of the study, he simply observed and the individuals were in their natural state or environment, it was an observational study.
