Answer:

20

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that

Jim has currently balance=$1250

Sally has currently balance=$1400

Jim deposits money per week=$27.50

Sally deposits per week=$20

We have to find how many weeks they will have the same amount of money.

Let w be the week .After w week they have same amount

According to question

1250+27.50 w=1400+20w

27.50 w-20 w=1400-1250

7.5 w=150

w=\frac{150}{7.5}=20

After 20 weeks , they will have the same amount of money.

Roger and rita each drive at a constant speed between phoenix and san diego. Each driver’s distance for the same section of the
never [62]

Answer:

a)Rita had a 28-mile head start

Step-by-step explanation:

The multiple options have been added in the additional information below the problem statement.

Missing Information:

Since the distance of each driver is not displayed. Let us assume their distances.

Say,

Roger travelled distance = 60 miles

Rita travelled distance = 32 miles

Now as it is given in the problem statement that Roger and Rita both drove at a constant speed between Phoenix and San Diego and they drove "Same Section of the trip" .

Which Means that the distance travelled of both is between Phoenix and San Diego, just their starting points are different but their end point is the same which is San Diego.

As we can see RIta had to cover less miles which means she got the head start, now to calculate how much of a head start she got, we need:

Head Start Rita got = Distance Roger travelled - Distance Rita Travelled

Head Start Rita got = 60 - 32 = 28 miles

So,

Rita got a Head start of 28 miles which is option (a)

fermium-253 has a half-life of three days. a sample contains 400 g. how long will it take for the sample to decay to 100 g?
sladkih [1.3K]
This is a relatively easy half life calculation.
After one half-life period, half of the isotope remains.
After two half-life periods, one quarter of the isotope remains.
That being the case, we see this will take 2 half-life periods or 6 days.

Shelby is an entrepreneur who has decided to open a small advertising firm. She rents office space at a cost of $25,000 per year
mestny [16]

Answer:

$ 125,000

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The amount of rent = $ 25,000,

The salary of assistant = $ 30, 000

Expenses = $ 20,000,

Also, her best alternative is to work elsewhere and to earn a salary of $50,000 per year.

Thus, the investment in the firm = 25000 + 30000 + 20000 + 50000

= $ 125,000,

Now, if she earns zero economic profit,

Then her revenue = investment

= $ 125,000
