Answer:b.40

Explanation:

Our brain is not made to completely focus on two things at the same time however we tend to focus on multiple things even when we get into our cars and that whilst driving .

Our brain has a limited capacity to process certain information at a time (cognitive load).

If we engaged in a conversation intead of totally focusing on driving we have to split part of our brain focus to that issue plus driving all at once which is too much for the brain to handle.

This has an impact on the quality of our driving we may end up driving badly than we would normal do if we were fully focused.

solmaris [256]

The answer is: Rent a computer or three weeks.

By renting the computer, Joshua only need to pay a fraction of what he would pay if he buy a new computer.

The downside of this would be that there would be no transfer of ownerships and the quality of computers might be outside of Joshua's control. But since it's an emergency situation, Joshua only need to survive using the rented computer for three weeks.

You are conducting an experiment in which you are trying to manipulate the immune response of rats by using the principles of cl
Fynjy0 [20]

Answer:

a. the sweetened water.

Explanation:

According to the principles of classical conditioning, conditioned stimulus occur when the intended stimulus create similar response in an experiment to that of the unconditioned stimulus. In other words, they are responses triggered when associated with unconditioned stimulus.

Here, the sweetened water is an intented stimulus. It was given to the rats with an immune-enhancing drug to boost their immune systems. However, when the drug was removed, the rats still showed signs of enhanced immune system just with the sweetened water. It shows that the sweetened water has associated with the unconditioned stimulus, which is enhanced immune system functioning, and now triggers the same response even without the drug.

This of course,  according to the Pluralist theory which states that decision making lies in the framework of the government but that many non-governmental organizations have a lot of influence over the government.  These groups balance each other out and they together represent the will of society.

Hoochie [10]

Answer:

Chocolate (Independent variable)

Explanation:

The independent variable is manipulative. The experimenter can manipulate it. It produces one or more results in a study called the dependent variable. It is called the independent variable because its variation doesn't depend on another variable in an experiment. The independent variable can be controlled or manipulated only by the researcher or experimenter.

For example:

Amount of water and fertilizer provide a tree. Water and fertilizer is an (independent variable) which can be manipulated by the experimenter.

Result: Height of the tree depends on water and fertilizer quantity (dependent variable) which can not be manipulated by researcher.
