Most settlements in Egypt back then (and today), were located primarily along the Nile River and the Northern coast of Egypt. Some reasons for this are:
- Access to freshwater via the Nile Delta on the Northern coast, or the Nile River extending into Egypt
- Along important trade routes in the Mediterranean and along the Nile
- The Nile River added important infrastructure to the cities and towns along it by letting people ship materials and goods down the river

bezimeni [28]

Answer:

Samantha is describing her self-concept.

Explanation:

In psychology, we can think of self-concept as the beliefs we have about ourselves, the way we perceive our abilities, behaviors, and characteristics. It is our self-concept that usually answers the question, "Who am I?". Self-concept interacts with self-knowledge and self-esteem, forming a mental picture of how we see ourselves. Examples of sentences that express self-concept are "I am a good daughter," or "I am a skilled athlete." When Samantha says that she is a sophomore, that she likes Taylor Swift, or what he favorite show is, she is describing her self-concept - her ideas of what defines her.

IrinaVladis [17]

Answer: When studying historiography, or the history of history, it’s important to realize that every historian presents ideas in a different way. That’s because they have biases that affect how they think and what they believe. However, good historians use a variety of sources to make sure their arguments are based on facts and sound evidence.

Historiography is the study of how history has been interpreted and recorded during different periods. As this passage states, historiography often reveals that the study of history is not objective, and in fact depends on various biases and prejudices that historians have. However, the negative effects of this can be decreased by comparing the facts of several different accounts.

What cultural and environmental factors in the united states may have contributed to the shift from an authoritarian "spare the
ivann1987 [24]

Question 1

An authoritarian parenting style is one that is based on the idea of children as strong-willed and self-indulgent. Parents who subscribe to it value obedience as a virtue in itself, and want the will of the child to bend to authority.

On the other hand, parents who are authoritative take a more pragmatic, case-by-case approach to discipline. They try to balance the child's needs with those of society instead of subscribing to one absolute standard.

Question 2

It is difficult to know what factors, if any, have caused a difference in parenting styles. However, if they do exist, they could be linked to a better understanding of children's emotional and social development. As the economy improves, and children no longer have to help support their family, there are also less expectations of children behaving as adults. The loss of social ties with the community could have also contributed to it, as parents look inward towards their nuclear family more, and therefore get to know their children better.

It is impossible to predict whether a new parenting style will arise. However, with the changes in economy and, in particular in technology, in recent years, this could be a plausible scenario.
