Answer:

Explanation:

Water is a universal solvent this is attributed by the polar nature of water. It is able to dissolve a variety of different substances. This is very important for every living being on earth. In living beings water form bonds with the variety of biomolecules and help in their dissolution in the body, it is the mode of transfer of nutrients to the entire body of the organism.

The polar nature of water suggests that it is a versatile solvent. It has polar arrangement because of the hydrogen atoms and oxygen atoms. The hydrogen has a positive electrical charge and the oxygen has a negative charge. This chemical nature suggests that water molecules are attracted to the different molecules and forms bond with it such as salts. sugars, water soluble biomolecules such as vitamins and others.

serg [7]
It is obvious that the sandstone is older than the granite. This is because the sandstone had to already exist when the granite formed from molten rock, as some of the sandstone was captured within the layer of hardening granite. The geological principle of inclusions supports this conclusion. Inclusions, in this case the sandstone, are always older than the rock they are found in.
